Crowd Conversion

Identity

Crowd Conversion is an accelerator and coaching program for influencers and other people who want to convert their audience into paying customers. I designed the identity and its motion.

The final logo: dots converging on a letter C, followed by “crowd conversion”
Final identity

I went through several ideas for the logotype. I settled on a crowd of people represented by dots that are all converging on the letter C. I wanted something that is both metaphorical and visually interesting. Also the logotype allows for interesting interactions and intro animations, which was essential for the project.

One of the problems with such types of logos is legibility at small sizes. I’ve solved this problem by gradually reducing the number of points depending on the size of the displayed logo.

The logo at full size: pink dots form the C, with black and grey dots scattered around it
Full color and shape detail
The logo at 32 pixels high, and a magnified view of it: fewer dots, all of them pink
32px height,
reduced dot count and color detail

Applications

A video cover on black: the logo in white, the title “Setting up a funnel” with Shay Cohen, and a pink spiral funnel The dot mark on its own, without the wordmark, on white

Although the primary medium of this logotype is digital, it holds up on merch too.

Conclusion

The Crowd Conversion project let me explore motion as part of the identity itself.
